It should be noted that I have NOT seen the movie (duh), have NOT seen the series, and have NOT read the book yet, because I firmly believe that reading the book before the movie would severly dampen the experience. I should know, because I saw the Harry Potter movies, and believe me, they are always cannot compare to how you imagined it would be in your head.
