I am angry, but at the same time, I am not surprised that this might happen :-(

Believe me, I am upset by this. I loved Renner. I loved Hawkeye. And I really don’t want him to be recast. But at the same time, I don’t want Renner to be underused as an actor and Clint to be just a minor cameo character either. I kind of hope with the good response the Hawkeye comics is getting and the new growing fanbase, Clint’s roles would get expanded on in future films.
